Yesterday I told you all about this fabulous vintage magazine I picked up at a vintage store recently. Today I thought I would share some of the recipes that are included in this issue.
“Easy-Mix” Cream Puffs
The text on the advertisement reads:
“Cream puffs diffcult? Not any more! Today they’re actually quick and easy…by this new “foolproof” Mazola Method. Just pour Mazola Oil to measure and mix. No fuss, no muss, no “melting down”. So thrifty, too! Treat your family to this extra-special treat…soon.”
Now, not being one who really likes to cook and quite frankly isn’t really good at it this seems not so easy and makes me wonder what these poor women had to do before the “easy mix” recipe came about! It’s so much easier to buy them pre-made some where! 😉
So, here is the recipe for all you chefs out there to try!
Let me know in the comments if you try it and how it turns out!
Until next time,
Kathie
